Fun Classes for Kids in Prague
A diverse range of exercise, sports, music and drama classes are on offer to English speakers of all ages - from toddlers, pre-schoolers, school kids and teens through to Mums.

Mums & Babies Yoga (newborn to 1 year), Prague 2
Tuesdays 10am
A class that helped motivate and de-stress me when coming to terms with having two kids. Your baby can participate as much as they wish, baby exercises and massage is incorporated into a workout for mum - including using your baby as counter weight. Riverside School Baby Group (up to 3 years), Prague 6
Wednesday & Friday Mornings from 9am till 10am
and from 13th October onwards there will be a third class: Thursdays at 9am till 10am
This popular group has been running for a few years now and continues to grow in strength thanks to the support of the school. On Wednesday the school hosts fun musical activities and on Friday art activities based on children’s book classics. This group is open to any parent, you do not need to have a child at Riverside to attend. This group offers much support to new parents, you are encouraged to mingle and make new friends over the Coffee, Tea and light snacks that are provided.

Cricket for Kids (for ages 5 and up), Prague 1
Sundays from 10am till noon
A relaxed, fun introduction to cricket on Kampa Island (opposite Kampa Museum). Come along with a picnic blanket, drinks and snacks for your kids and watch the kids learn from fellow parent and teacher Scott Page sharing his passion and knowledge of the game. All equipment is provided.

Kids Rugby is held at U mrazovky in Prague 5 (facing Le lapin Bleu restaurant) and gives participants the opportunity to train for fun as well as playing in games of the Czech junior rugby union competition through its co-operation with Tatra Smichov rugby club.

Stage Stars operate all over Prague, usually from the International Schools. Fun classes, activities and theatre productions teach children both Theatre and Film skills. Organised by Class Acts, this new weekly drama session designed for bilingual children is led by Judi Challiner, a UK trained teacher formerly from the International School of Prague who specialises in Drama and English. Stories in Action is also open to children with a basic knowledge of English.

If your child is a native or non-native English speaker, loves acting and is aged between 8 – 17 years old, Prague Youth Theatre (PYT) is the place for them. PYT rehearse and perform four major theatrical productions a year in a professional theatre in the centre of Prague. Performances have also featured at Prague’s popular Fringe Festival! PYT begins auditions on SATURDAY 17th SEPTEMBER from 9am. Children audition for free, if successful a fee per term applies.

This is where you will find me each Thursday! Specially designed to help women post-baby - and that baby could have been born 10 years ago! Monica Angelucci uses a combination of Yoga, Pillates, Breath and Bhandas (body locks) to find and target every abdominal muscle within your body. You will be amazed to discover that you actually have so many - they will make themselves known a day after class when they complain by being used! Often our posture realigns and our backs take on most of the work holding us up - so retrain your body to ensure a strong core. The Yogame studio also offers babysitting to Mums who would like to come along. A separate room is prepared with toys and a qualified babysitter, this service costs an additional 50czk.
