Families are invited to come and celebrate all of the approaching winter holidays at Class Act’s third Storytelling Hour of the school year this Saturday 29 November at Cirkus Cafe. The 45 minute program in English will feature reading, singing, puppets and a craft activity especially for kids aged 2 to 6. Class Acts, is an organisation dedicated to bringing kids and culture together. They stage regular storytelling events, puppet shows and theatre performances around Prague and teach drama to preschoolers at Rodinne Centrum Palecek.

Their Storytelling Hour will be held every month at Circus Cafe so keep an eye on their website for future performances.

They also run Czech classes for 2 to 4 year old non-native children, the language is introduced through singing and simple rhymes. Also seminars on bilingual education in the Czech Republic and handy sessions in English on how to choose a local kindergarten for your child. Upcoming events are posted ahead of time on their website so it’s worth bookmarking.

DIRECTIONS: Tram 20, 6, 9, 12 to tram stop Svandovo Divadlo, nearby is Zubateho street, walk 50m and you are there. Look for the sign saying “CIRKUS”, you should see it from the main road. The closest metro station is Andel - yellow line B. The Cafe is also walking distance from Ujezd - Mala Strana.
