Swimming for Kids July 8 to 12, Jablonec nad Nisou
Are you looking for children’s swimming classes taught by professionals in English? How about combining it with a short vacation to the beautiful Czech mountains? Family Centre Andilek is hosting an all ages, all nations, English speaking holiday program at kid friendly, newly reconstructed Hotel U nas in the picturesque Czech mountain town of Jablonec nad Nesou.
Six swimming lessons are on offer to kids of all ages, children will be split into small groups of no more than 5 according to their age and ability. This way teachers can pay individual attention to the children’s level of swimming skills. The hotel has a beautiful indoor heated salt water pool available for these lessons. Make sure to bring shoes to wear pool side, swimming costume, swimming goggles and towels.
Part of the holiday will also include an introduction to parents on Montessori education and six Montessori programs will be run for the children and their parents by University and Montessori trained English speaking teachers These programs will be held in a special Montessori prepared room. As well, there will be a field trip to a nearby Czech glass and jewelry factory which also houses an historical exhibition on Seven Centuries of Czech Glass.
The hotel is very child-friendly and offers a range of kids meals and high chairs in their on-site restaurant, in-room cots and an indoor and outdoor playground (including a climbing wall for older kids). It’s location also gives you the opportunity to cycle or hike in fresh mountain air and kids can run around the hotel grounds safely due to the quiet, rural location. The hotel also features satellite tv, wireless internet, sauna, bar, billiards, table football, darts, a wellness centre offering massage and treatments plus a large swim spa. Wednesday: lecture for parents on Motessori education
Thursday: 2 swimming lessons, Montessori program, outdoor evening bbq
Friday: Field trip to Czech Glass and Jewelry Factory (including Exhibition), 1 swimming lesson, Montessori program
Saturday: 2 swimming lessons, Montessori program
Sunday: 1 swimming lesson, Montessori program
The holiday package includes:
Accommodation for 4 nights in rooms with private bathrooms, satellite tv, wireless internet
parking for one car per room
3 meals a day, starting with dinner on Wednesday evening at 6pm, ending with lunch on Sunday 12.30pm
6 swimming classes with English speaking instructors
6 Montessori programs with English speaking teachers
